Kid Turn In Announces New QR Code Temporary Tattoo Child Locator

New Albany, OHIO (October 10, 2013) – As advances in technology increase, the ability to locate a missing child grows as well.  Kid Turn In has combined the commonly-used children’s temporary tattoo with QR code technology in order to help good samaritans reunite children with their parents.

Similar to other “child finder” tattoos, the Kid Turn In tattoo contains parent contact information and medical information about the child, such as allergies or disabilities.  What makes Kid Turn In different from its competitors is the QR code and geolocation: it keeps personal information hidden until it is scanned with a smart phone, and when scanned, uses GPS technology to inform parents of the exact location of the child via text message or email.

“Our latest family trip to Disney World felt safer and less nerve-wracking because all of the kids in our family had Kid Turn In temporary tattoos,” said Brad Griffith, president of Buckeye Interactive and the lead architect on the project. “I encourage parents to use Kid Turn In wristbands and temporary tattoos at all crowded public places where kids can get lost.”

Creating a QR code temporary tattoo or wristband unique to each child is quick and easy- simply build the child’s profile on kidturn.in and pay for tattoos and wristbands to be sent to your door or purchase the QR code to be printed at your creative convenience.
