The Challenge: Enhancing Community Engagement

New Albany Parks and Recreation hosts an annual Trunk or Treat event to bring families together for a fun, safe Halloween celebration. As a partner of New Albany Parks and Rec and a New Albany-based business ourselves, we wanted to support the event while showcasing our new digital photobooth product, framed.camera. The challenge was to effectively introduce this innovative technology while enhancing community engagement.

The Process: Setting the Stage

Six of our enthusiastic local team members volunteered to participate in the event. Our goal was not only to sponsor the Trunk or Treat but also to create an immersive experience. We set up a lively booth where families could utilize framed.camera, capturing fun moments with themed backdrops and props. This interactive feature allowed attendees to engage with our technology firsthand, making for memorable experiences.

In addition to showcasing our innovative technology, the event was also a chance to demonstrate our team’s creativity. Team members coordinated costumes for our Scooby Doo themed booth, adding an extra layer of fun. Anjelo’s hand-drawn Mystery Machine cover for his car was a standout, and Margo’s dog even joined in the fun, dressed as the same iconic vehicle. This event fostered teamwork and allowed team members to bond outside of work hours, creating lasting memories while contributing to a community tradition.

The Impact: Meaningful Connections with the Community

Our involvement in the Trunk or Treat event had a significant impact on both the community and our company. By actively participating, we established a stronger presence in New Albany, demonstrating our commitment to supporting local initiatives. We provided New Albany Parks and Rec with a fun and interactive element through the framed.camera digital photobooth, which attracted families eager to capture Halloween memories.

The event also served as a platform for meaningful connections with community members and local businesses, showcasing our dedication to collaboration, community spirit, and ultimately- fun. Overall, Trunk or Treat was a great team-building activity that allowed us to support our partners, get involved in the community, and demonstrate new ways to use technology.
